making pc to phone calls with skype?

Hi all. How do you make pc to phone calls with skype? I can't find that option anywhere. Thanks.

You will have to buy credit first from the skype website. If you did that i am not sure how you make the actual calls but i think you type the name in the edit box you would type a contact's name. Like in the main skype window if you press tab there are two things. The listbox with contacts and an edit area and that's where you type the number you want to call i think.

Sorry. I gave some wrong information in my previous post.
To make calls with skype you will have to swich from the contacts tab to the dial tab by pressing control+tab until you find it. In my skype there are three tabs. Contacts, dial and history.
After you find the dial tab you move with tab in the different areas. I don't know how well jaws is going to speak there.
I hope it helps and sorry for posting wrong information in my previous post. But you still have to buy skype credit to do that.

If your calling in the states, calling is free up till the end of the year. But you can only call the US and Canada, if I am not mistaken.

I never did like Skype. Mostly a pain in the ass to use. And everyone refused to install it. Only a small handful use Skype out of my Aim/Msn and Yahoo lists combined.

I've only made a few calls with Skype, but I think you just have to control-tab to the Dial tab, enter the number, and hit enter.
